Two Wests & Elliott are a well respected gardening equipment supplier. Being well established within local markets, their aim was to increase market awareness nationally through social media. Extending the reach of their messages and brand visibility was a way to promote themselves as one of the UK’s most reputable garden suppliers.

The Challenge

Two Wests & Elliott had a heap of useful information and expertise to showcase, such as ‘how to’ growing guides, and useful tips for using products. So they had content, but it wasn’t reaching the depths of the markets like it should have been. So we were brought in to:

  • Extend the reach of Two Wests & Elliott’s online content
  • Source quality leads
  • Develop online engagement
  • Set-up and build Two Wests & Elliott’s Facebook & Twitter networks
  • Drive traffic to the Two Wests & Elliott website


Our Solution

We were delighted to help a warm and friendly business such as Two Wests & Elliott with these exciting challenges. And so we helped them achieve their goals through content development and a campaign programme of incentives.


Through designing and developing a Facebook Competition App we helped attract life-long fans to the Two Wests & Elliott Facebook Page. Facebook users could enter a prize draw by simply liking the page and entering their contact details. The giveaway was really successful with over 300 fans gained, as well as more than 200 qualified customer leads. Alongside the campaign, we produced and delivered engaging content for Facebook, helping to raise brand awareness and encourage clicks to the Two Wests & Elliott website.


Through generating and delivering frequent and engaging tweets, this direct response method was successful in driving high levels of web traffic and attracting long-term followers. We also used a variety of techniques including Hashtags, Influencer Targeting and Re-tweeting- to further increase engagement ratios, levels of reach and the volume of new followers.
