Reed Specialist Recruitment is one of the largest recruitment agencies in the UK. REED were feeling the benefits from social media to source clients and candidates and wanted to take their social marketing up another gear.


After just three months of support, REED saw impressive results in lieu of our efforts, which we’re delighted to say has continued to date…

After three months:

The Challenge

REED has a library of specialised e-zines and industry publications designed to inform their markets on specific industry developments. So they had great content, but it wasn’t reaching the depths of the markets as well as it should have been. So we were brought in to:

  • Increase traffic to
  • Boost publication subscriptions
  • Extend the reach of REED online content
  • Develop online engagement
  • Grow REED’s LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter networks


Our Solution

So it goes without saying – we were delighted to help REED with these exciting challenges. And we’ve been doing this through content development & promotional services across Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, as follows:


Through generating and delivering several engaging tweets every day for multiple REED Twitter handles, we’re continuously driving Twitter users to read and subscribe to REED publications. Using a variety of techniques including Hashtags, Influencer Targeting and Joining Chat, this direct response method has been successful in driving high levels of subscriptions and web traffic.


To create strong, loyal relationships with clients and candidates, we showcase the REED publications in a business focused manner through REED’s LinkedIn company profile. This supports REED’s position of expertise as an industry leader, whilst expanding the reach of their message across those (all important) consultant networks.


Our content distribution onto the UK’s favourite platform targets job seekers rather than clients, as Facebook is often more personal than other social sites. This promotion brings with it a high engagement ratio, good click through rates and continues to build REED’s valuable candidate fan base.
